Whether your dog needs a favorite activity, a new adventure, or simply some uninterrupted attention, our enrichment offerings give them dedicated one-on-one time to sniff, climb, learn, and connect. Call today to book your dog’s next enrichment session!

Enrichment

More Than Play. More Than Exercise.

Dogs need opportunities to sniff, explore, think, learn, move, rest, and connect.

At Rose City Dogs, enrichment gives your dog dedicated time to engage their brain, body, and natural instincts while they’re already spending the day—or staying—with us.

And enrichment doesn’t look the same for every dog.

Don’t know what your dog likes? Let’s find out.

Enrichment Time

15 or 30 Minutes. Dedicated Entirely to Your Dog.

You don’t need to choose the perfect activity. That’s our job.

During Enrichment Time, one of our team members spends dedicated one-on-one time with your dog exploring activities based on their personality, interests, energy level, and what they need that day.

They might sniff. Climb. Search. Learn. Play. Explore. Or simply enjoy some uninterrupted attention.

We follow the dog.

The activity isn’t the goal. Their experience is.

Why Add Enrichment?

Small Batch daycare already includes thoughtful socialization, active group management, rest, redirection, and opportunities to practice good choices throughout the day.

Enrichment Time adds something different: dedicated one-on-one attention.

It’s an opportunity to step away from the group, engage in a favorite activity, try something new, use their brain, build confidence, decompress—or simply connect with one of their caregivers.

Sometimes enrichment means doing more.

Sometimes it means slowing down.

Their time. Their interests. Their pace.

Everyday Skills

Learning can be enrichment, too.

Enrichment Time may include positive-reinforcement practice with recall, leash manners, basic cues, waiting, settling, impulse control, or cooperative care.

This isn’t private training. It’s another way to exercise your dog’s brain while reinforcing useful everyday skills.

We Follow the Dog

The activity isn’t the goal. Their experience is.

If your dog isn’t interested in the activity we chose, we’ll try something else. If they’d rather sniff than climb, we’ll listen. If what they need is a quiet break from their friends, that counts too.

We’re discovering what enrichment means to your dog.
