What a great addition to the neighborhood!  I heard about Rose City Dogs through my go-to pet store, Pets on Broadway.  I requested a grooming appointment and got in the very next day.  Leahland, the owner was SO kind and he knew my dog's name (Percy) right when I walked in.  Leticia did a fabulous job with Percy and she came home smelling amazing, with her nails trimmed perfectly and her coat all shiny.  She really did a great job de-shedding as well.  When I came in to pick her up, everyone knew my name too.  Wow!  I highly recommend.

Rose City Dogs was referred to me by a friend and upon making Barkley’s first appointment, he and I were met with open arms (& treats to boot.) Leahland (biz owner) and Stephany (a true professional groomer) took such care in not only Barkley’s experience but his human’s as well. At long last, a local gem where service, kindness and work pride are alive and well and has landed in the neighborhood! If you love your dog, send them to Leahland and Stephany!

I am so happy with the care my dog receives at Rose City Dogs! He goes to their day care program and is always eager to go in when we arrive and is calm and happy when I pick him up. I appreciate that they keep it to a small group of dogs, creating a comfortable environment. All the staff have been very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They are attuned to each dog’s needs and tailor their approach accordingly. The owner, Leahland, keeps in great communication and quickly got to know my dog’s unique personality. I have learned so much about my pup by hearing his observations, insights and positive feedback. It is clear that he genuinely cares about each dog and has a passion for providing high quality services.

We cannot say enough good things about our grooming experience with Stephany and Leahland at Rose City Dogs. Both our pups came home looking better than they ever had, with none of the skin or anxiety issues they’d had after grooming at other places. The attention and care they give each dog by only doing one dog at a time makes a huge difference. Oliver and Isabel were both so calm and happy afterward, and we can tell they feel great!

It’s such a relief knowing that Leahland at Rose City Dogs is taking care of my rascals when I can’t be with them. I don’t ever worry because I know they’re getting so much play time, socialization, and love. Leahland even loves my grouchy old chihuahua! And their reactions when they see him tell me they love every minute of it too. Thanks for taking care of my little monsters!

I could tell from the moment I met Doug that my pupper was going to thrive with him and I was right! We got my dog as a rescue at 5 years old and she was highly reactive to other dogs in a not good way. She would pull and strain against her leash when she saw other dogs playing or running, even at a distance. After just a few sessions with Doug, she learned to calm down and feel safer in those spaces. He took the time to teach us how to work with her and to spot some of her triggers. She responded so well to him and his patient, kind approach. He also made it fun for her and focused the training on positive reinforcement, giving her the time and space to figure things out for herself. I HIGHLY recommend Doug!

Before working with Leahland, Senna was fiercely protective of our home and her family and would try aggressively to bite anyone who came in or even tried to come on our property. Leahland taught us how to introduce her to people and how to teach new people proper interactions with her. With these techniques she now graciously allows visitors and guests into our home. Without this help we would have had to return her to the rescue shelter.
